The Town of Severance now only accepts online applications for all building permits and contractor registrations.

Homeowners / Contractors: How to Apply

• Visit the Community Core Website to register and apply for a building permit.
• Download the PDF Building Permit Application.
• Complete the PDF application and upload to the online application, upload construction documents (PDF format only), and include contractor details (including trade contractors).

Important Notes

• Permit Expiration: Permits expire 180 days after the last inspection or any sign of inactivity/abandonment.

• Payment Fees: A transaction fee applies to credit/debit card payments. No fee is charged when using the e-check option.
