Citizen of the Year - Elizabeth Foster Atkins
Congratulations Elizabeth Foster Atkins! Elizabeth is the Severance Chamber of Commerce President, local Realtor and is a substitute teacher for Weld RE-4 schools. She is passionate about helping her community grow and can be found connecting businesses with the community. She tirelessly works to find resources to help businesses in our area thrive and put on a fundraising event with the Severance and Timnath Chamber of Commerce to help with Weld Re-4 programs.
Youth of the Year - Owen Arellano
Owen was described as having pride, respect, community involvement and an incredibly big heart. Owen is proud to live in Severance and loves his school, Range View Elementary. Owen is a friend to all and does small things without being asked such as picking up trash he finds in the road, putting bike he finds on the sidewalk in the correct driveway and heling kids at the park who are hurt. We're grateful to have youth in Severance like Owen!
