A $25 administrative fee is due at the time of application for a Business License, which must be paid by check or card. You can pay in person or over the phone at 970-686-1218. There is an additional processing fee if you pay by card. Submittal of the application and receipt of payment do not guarantee approval of the application. All businesses selling at retail must have a current Severance Sales Tax License. All businesses situated in Severance and selling at retail need both a current Business License and Sales Tax License. Food trucks and trailers are required to include a current Health Department License and a Fire District approval.
